CHRISTCHURCH is an Evangelical Christian church that was planted in East Mesa in 2009. The initial core of our church came from East Valley Bible Church in Gilbert – now known as Redemption Church – Gilbert. This church of over 4,000 people saw the opportunity and need to see a church planted in this region that would espouse a similar set of emphases: Classical, orthodox doctrine; a serious approach to true discipleship; an embrace of God’s mandate to bless our cities with acts of service and gospel proclamation. A small group of men and women began meeting together in February of 2009. In November, we officially launched 
CHRISTCHURCH, and opened our doors to the community.
CHRISTCHURCH is open to everyone, but we realize it may not be fore everyone. We make no claims that we are the only good church in town, or even that we are in some way “the best.” We are blessed to be working side-by-side with many wonderful Christians and churches in our area.
But we do believe that many churches in our modern world have abandoned significant principles and practices which we intend to recover. We embrace the principles of accountability to classical Christian theology, the inspiration and authority of the Bible, the exclusive claims of Jesus, the Biblical call to discipline and sacrifice, the richness and priority of church-family relationships, and the value of our Christian heritage. In our practice, we are committed to the Spiritual journey of a deepening relationship with our God, the proclamation of the pure gospel, and the blessing of our cities through acts of service and the arts.
